About Me
Welcome to taking the first step on your healing journey!
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the Miami area, with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I am passionate about working with clients of all ages to help reduce stress, gain resilience, and improve quality of life in a holistic manner. I am also a certified yoga teacher and specialize in managing the mind-body connection, with options to incorporate physical movement in tandem with mindfulness exercises.
Many clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, stuck in old patterns, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Our work focuses on helping you slow down, tune into what your body is communicating, and reconnect with a sense of grounding, clarity, and emotional safety.
I provide an open approach within my practice, utilizing methods from multiple modalities to help regulate emotions, manage anxiety, and learn to cope with past trauma in order to foster overall wellness while creating a warm and safe space to explore any presenting issues.
Have you tried talk therapy in the past, but felt stuck or at a plateau?
Yoga and somatic therapy
As a certified yoga instructor, I blend evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions) with yoga-informed techniques such as breathwork, gentle movement, and nervous system regulation. Yoga therapy allows us to reach parts of your healing that talk therapy alone cannot fully touch, including the stress, tension, and emotional imprints stored in the body. This integrative approach supports deep and lasting change for those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, postpartum adjustments, and body image concerns.
By blending ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques, somatic therapy can tailor yoga and other physical practices to your unique needs. With a compassionate and holistic approach, I strive to empower clients to reconnect with their bodies, alleviate tension, and find balance in their lives.
Couples therapy
Relationships can be some of our greatest sources of connection, and yet some of our greatest sources of pain, confusion, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you and your partner are navigating communication challenges, ongoing conflict, intimacy concerns, betrayal, or major life transitions, couples therapy offers a grounded space to slow down, listen deeply, and understand each other with greater compassion.
My approach to couples therapy integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and emotion-focused techniques to help partners shift out of reactive patterns and into more intentional, connected communication. We explore the cycles that keep you stuck and the emotional and physiological responses shaping how you relate to one another. Through nervous system regulation, couples learn to stay present even in difficult moments. This work is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing grows from safety, honesty, and mutual understanding. Whether you're rebuilding trust, deepening intimacy, or simply trying to reconnect, therapy can help you create a relationship that feels healthier, aligned and resilient.
